Project NOVA-6 Background

  • Since 1996 AMCO Engineering is pursuing Indigenous Natural Resources Development Program (INRDP).
  • From 2003 to 2017, Pakistan and USA governments collaborated on multiple Oil & Gas Projects.
  • Based on June 2013 EIA report, Pakistan & USAID conducted field studies and in November 2015 jointly reconfirmed that Pakistan has massive technically recoverable deposits.
  • Currently, AMCO-PEIS are the lead to acquire reliable and authenticated data to Study; Analyze; Interpret; Evaluate and Simulate the Earth Progressions using Gravity; Magnetic; Electrical and Seismic methods.
  • Government of Pakistan Gas Pricing Formula
  • For Onshore:

    From 6.15 US $/MMBTU - To 7.0 US $/MMBTU

    For Offshore:

    Shallow            = 7 $/MMBTU

    Deep                = 8 $/MMBTU

    Ultra-Deep       = 9 $/MMBTU

AMCO-MRC Houston Energy Conference 2014

During 2014, with the active participation of US State Department and Government of Pakistan (GoP), an Energy Conference was organized in Houston by Pakistan Consulate Houston Texas USA. During the conference, President RESOCHEM Corp. Dr. Aziz Ahmed Siddiqi presented the Action Plan and consequently RESOCHEM Corp. Director Special Projects Mr. Mohammad A. Mirza traveled to Pakistan. However, GoP decided to buy LNG from Qatar.

Pakistan & USAID Field Study

  • During 2014-15, following encouraging estimates provided by the US EIA, Government of Pakistan (GoP) with the technical assistance of USAID conducted field study and sent shale formation samples to USA to determine the prospects of reserves.
  • During November 2015, after receiving input from USAID, GoP Reconfirmed the massive recoverable deposits of minimum 10 trillion cubic feet (TCF) of shale gas and 2.3 trillion of stock tank barrels (STB) of shale oil across the country. GoP has signed multiple Exploration and Petroleum Concessions Agreements with Pakistani and foreign companies.

USA Strategy

Coal to Liquid

USA COAL TO LIQUID PROGRAM

As per National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) part of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOENational Laboratory SystemUnderground Coal Gasification (UCG) takes advantage of the same chemical reactions of coal to produce product gases, as those occurring in conventional gasifier reactors. The main difference is that in UCG the underground coal seam itself becomes the reactor, so that the gasification of the coal takes place underground instead of in a manufactured gasification vessel at the surface.
